The Water Dragon

One of the strengths of the Water Dragon is his ability to put his talents and time to good use and this will be very much the case this year. The Horse year can open up quite a few interesting possibilities as well as spring some surprises and to benefit fully the Water Dragon will need to show flexibility.

His home life is likely to see considerable activity and Water Dragons who are grandparents or become grandparents this year will often delight in following the progress of younger family members. With the Water Dragon’s experience and ability to empathize, he will also be able to offer quite a few relations both practical assistance and moral support. He will enjoy sharing many activities with those close to him and the year favours joint undertakings. For family developments, this can be a busy and special time.

However, while this can be a full and interesting year, problems can still arise. Sometimes these could be caused by making assumptions or by tension caused by tiredness and pressure. At such times, the Water Dragon should recognize that greater understanding or more discussion is needed. Fortunately these awkward moments will be relatively few, but they should not be allowed to overshadow this potentially rewarding year.

With his sociable nature, the Water Dragon will appreciate meeting up with his friends over the year and many of his interests and activities will have a good social element too. Many Water Dragons will enjoy playing an increased role in organizations or groups, and those who would welcome new friendships would do well to consider activities in their area and groups they could join. Positive action can lead to some special friendships being formed. Late March to early June, September and December could see the most social activity.

Also, the Horse year can proceed in curious ways and should the Water Dragon become intrigued by a new subject, see a course that appeals to him or welcome a new challenge, this would be an ideal time to follow this up.

The Horse year can also bring important choices as far as the Water Dragon’s work situation is concerned. As a result of initiatives and changes in their workplace, many Water Dragons will find their objectives and role changing. As a consequence, some parts of the year can give rise to uncertainty, but what opens up will allow many Water Dragons to draw on their experience and to have a positive impact on their place of work.

The majority will continue with their present employer, but some could decide to take up retirement options or feel ready for change and look elsewhere.
